Howdy!

Hi, I’m Sarah :)

I’m an Arizona native with clay under my fingernails and art in my heart. My journey with ceramics began back in high school, when I was still figuring out where I fit in. While other subjects never seemed to click, the visual arts felt like home — a place where I could express myself, make mistakes, and create something beautiful from nothing.

In 2011, I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Art Education and a focus in Ceramics. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching in public schools across the valley, sharing the magic of art with students of all ages.

In 2023, I opened Valley Clay Ceramic Studio and spent two wonderful years teaching private ceramic lessons. During that time, I realized there was a need for unique, hands-on art experiences outside of traditional classrooms and studios — something creative, mobile, and fun. That spark of inspiration grew into The Crafted Caravan, where I bring art adventures directly to events, parties, and communities.

Whether it’s working with clay, trying new techniques, or simply getting messy and laughing together, my goal is to make art feel accessible, joyful, and unforgettable.
